Laser-Ablated Gold Nanoparticles
Cytodiagnostics Ultra Pure Gold Nanoparticles are produced through laser ablation of bulk gold in water. This synthesis method results in gold nanoparticles devoid of any contaminants, see figure and table below. Further, these particles do not have any stabilizing molecules on the surface (e.g. citrate), which makes them ideal for further functionalization.
These gold nanoparticles are available in 8 different sizes ranging from 10nm to 45nm in diameter and are supplied in water.
Features
- High purity: surfactant free and low ionic impurity.
- High stability at elevated temperature of 50 degrees Celsius and during partial PEGylation and other conjugation.
- Bare surface and high efficiency conjugation.
- Applicable for multiple ligand conjugation.
